Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a full-time Medical Director. The practice provides comprehensive veterinary care for cats and dogs and is looking for an experienced veterinarian to lead the medical team while continuing to practice high-quality small animal medicine in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Medical Director will combine clinical practice with medical leadership, establishing the direction and maintaining the quality of medicine throughout the hospital. Responsibilities include providing advanced medical and surgical care, supporting and mentoring the veterinary team, fostering a collaborative culture, and ensuring exceptional patient care and client service. The role also involves working closely with credentialed technicians, veterinary assistants, and client service representatives while promoting client education and transparent treatment recommendations. The successful candidate will collaborate with a network of specialists to support complex cases. This position is suited to an experienced veterinarian.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Saturday from 8:00am to 12:00pm, and is closed on Sundays. There are no on-call or after-hours shifts. The practice is equipped with advanced facilities including a dedicated dental suite with dental radiology, electronic medical records, cold laser therapy, ultrasound, digital radiology, EKG, Tonopen, an in-house laboratory, an in-house pharmacy, and an in-office surgical suite. Services include advanced care, chemotherapy, cryosurgery, dermatology, laser surgery, orthopaedic surgery, reproductive services, soft tissue surgery, alternative medicine, primary care, allergy and itchy skin relief, anesthesia, dentistry, dental X-rays, DNA breed testing, euthanasia services, health certificates, health examinations, radiology, routine surgeries, and spays and neuters. The practice also benefits from access to a local network of specialists and 24-hour consultation support for complex cases.

Team
You will join a team of 4 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
