Our client is a hospital providing comprehensive care for dogs and cats and is seeking a full-time Medical Director to lead its veterinary team. This AAHA-accredited practice combines advanced medical capabilities, modern facilities, and a dedicated support team to create an environment where exceptional patient care and professional growth go hand in hand. Role Description and Responsibilities
As Medical Director, you will serve as the clinical leader of the hospital while maintaining an active caseload. You will work closely with the veterinary and support teams to uphold medical standards, mentor colleagues, promote collaboration, and ensure exceptional patient and client care. Clinical responsibilities include preventive care, wellness examinations, diagnostics, anesthesia, dentistry, dental radiography, general surgery, routine surgical procedures including spays and neuters, pain management, geriatric medicine, urology, diabetes management, hospitalization, and hospice care. The role also includes supporting team development, fostering a positive hospital culture, and helping guide the continued success of the practice. This position is suited to an experienced veterinarian with strong leadership qualities and a passion for advancing patient care.

Practice Details
This AAHA-accredited small animal hospital provides a wide range of medical and surgical services supported by modern equipment and facilities. The hospital features dedicated dental and surgical suites, hands-free radiology protocols, an in-office surgical suite, an in-house pharmacy, isolation facilities, and oxygen and transfusion therapy capabilities. Services include preventive care, primary care, allergy management, anesthesia, dental care, dental X-rays, dentistry, full diagnostics, general surgery, routine surgeries, spays and neuters, pain management, radiology, health examinations, health certificates, hospitalization, hospice care, geriatric medicine, urology, canine and feline diabetes management, euthanasia services, and itchy skin relief. The hospital operates Monday through Thursday from 8:00am to 8:00pm, Friday from 8:00am to 7:00pm, and Saturday from 8:30am to 3:00pm.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
