Our client is a full-service veterinary hospital hiring for a Medical Director. The clinic provides comprehensive care across a wide range of services, offering a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality veterinary medicine.

The role offers flexibility with both full-time and part-time options available.
Role Description and Responsibilities
This position is suited to an experienced veterinarian. As Medical Director, responsibilities include overseeing medical standards and quality of care, setting clinical policies, and ensuring cohesive teamwork across all services. The role involves managing clinical practice, reviewing patient records for accuracy and excellence, conducting regular doctor meetings, and ensuring compliance with protocols including controlled drug management. Additional duties include collaborating with leadership on inventory, budgeting for equipment, and supporting communication between clients and the veterinary team while maintaining high standards of patient care.
Practice Details
The hospital is a full-service facility offering a comprehensive range of services including routine wellness exams, vaccinations, dental care, emergency care, cold laser therapy, soft tissue surgery, spaying and neutering, mass removal, and wound care. It also provides care for avian and exotic species. The practice emphasizes progressive veterinary care, strong client relationships, and a collaborative culture supported by wider organizational resources and ongoing professional development opportunities.
Team
The team consists of 5 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team, creating a collaborative and supportive working environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
