Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a full-time Lead Veterinarian. The hospital has been serving the local community for over 25 years, providing compassionate, high-quality veterinary care for cats and dogs. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced veterinarian to lead an established practice while helping shape its future alongside a collaborative and supportive team.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Lead Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical and surgical care while leading the clinical team and maintaining high standards of patient care. Responsibilities include mentoring and supporting fellow veterinarians, encouraging collaboration through case discussions, and helping guide the future direction of the hospital. The successful candidate will work closely with the team to foster a positive working environment while delivering exceptional veterinary medicine across a varied companion animal caseload. This position is suited to an experienced veterinarian with leadership ambitions or previous leadership experience.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday through Thursday from 9:00am to 7:00pm, Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm, Saturday from 9:00am to 1:00pm, and is closed on Sundays. The practice is equipped with modern equipment and resources that support high-quality veterinary medicine and surgery. Services include wellness and preventative care, veterinary surgery, diagnostic imaging and radiology, allergies and dermatology, microchipping, and veterinary parasite treatment. The hospital has served the community for more than 25 years and is known for its collaborative culture, where veterinarians are encouraged to share ideas, continue developing professionally, and build lasting relationships with a loyal client base.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
