Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital group seeking a Regional Medical Director to support multiple hospitals across the region, offering either full-time or part-time opportunities working with varied species.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Regional Medical Director will play a key leadership role focused on mentorship, collaboration, and strategic development across multiple hospital teams. Responsibilities include supporting and developing veterinarians through coaching, professional development planning, and performance reviews, while strengthening clinical, surgical, and communication skills across the region. The role involves fostering collaboration between hospital teams, sharing best practices, and ensuring doctors have the clinical resources needed to deliver high-quality care. You will also support recruitment and onboarding of veterinary talent, contribute to mentorship programs, and help build a strong pipeline of future professionals. Working closely with a Regional Operations Director, you will align medical leadership with hospital performance by supporting scheduling, equipment planning, and service expansion. This position is suited to a very experienced veterinarian with a passion for leadership, mentorship, and advancing medical quality.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
