Our client is a hospital seeking a full-time Lead Veterinarian to join their collaborative team. The practice provides high-quality veterinary care for cats, dogs, farm animals, pocket pets/small mammals, and reptiles, offering a diverse and rewarding caseload. Role Description and Responsibilities
The Lead Veterinarian will serve as the medical leader of the hospital, overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care while supporting the overall success of the practice. Responsibilities include managing a varied caseload of appointments and surgeries, overseeing the medical care of all patients, partnering with hospital leadership to maintain medical quality, and serving as the veterinarian of record for all required hospital permits and licenses. The role also involves collaborating with the clinical team and Practice Manager on staffing and scheduling, building strong relationships within the practice and local community, and encouraging the development of support staff through the internal LevelUp training program. This position is suited to an experienced veterinarian, with mentorship available for those looking to further develop their leadership skills.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm and is closed on weekends. The practice is well-equipped with digital x-ray, ultrasound, cold and therapy laser technology, supporting a broad range of diagnostic and treatment capabilities. Services include wellness care, sick and urgent care, dentistry, end-of-life care, laboratory and diagnostic services, microchipping, pain management, parasite prevention, and surgery. Surgical procedures include abdominal and soft tissue surgeries, bladder stone removal (cystotomy), C-sections, dental surgery, ear hematoma repair, exploratory surgery, eye and ear surgeries, GDV surgery, gastropexy, mass and tumor removal, laceration repair, and spay and neuter procedures. Team
The successful candidate will join a team consisting of 1 DVM and a great tenured support team. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
