Introduction
Our client is a full-service small animal hospital in Santa Barbara seeking a compassionate Associate Veterinarian to join their dedicated team. With a long-standing reputation for high-quality and compassionate veterinary care, the practice serves the Santa Barbara, Montecito, Goleta, and Central Coast communities, providing comprehensive services for dogs and cats in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Saturday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with Saturdays dedicated to urgent care appointments. The Associate Veterinarian role is structured to align with these hours, offering a steady schedule with no Sunday shifts or after-hours requirements.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide full-spectrum care to companion animals, including routine wellness exams, vaccinations, dentistry, geriatric support, and surgical procedures such as soft tissue surgery, dental surgery, and reproductive surgeries. The role requires a compassionate and dedicated professional committed to the principles of quality, integrity, compassion, and service, ensuring that every patient receives expert and loving care.

Practice Details
The hospital offers a wide range of veterinary services including preventive care, dentistry, geriatrics, and surgery, supported by advanced diagnostic capabilities. The in-house diagnostic lab features radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, and digital dental X-rays, ensuring accurate and timely diagnoses. As a well-respected and established practice, the hospital is known for its commitment to treating pets as though they were their own, fostering trust with clients throughout the Santa Barbara community.

Team
The practice currently has 1 DVM supported by experienced technicians and a friendly support staff. The team is close-knit, valuing collaboration and mutual support to provide the highest standard of care in a warm and compassionate environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
