Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing care for cats and dogs and is hiring for a full-time Medical Director Veterinarian position. This opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian looking to combine clinical responsibilities with leadership within a general practice environment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Medical Director Veterinarian will be responsible for the full scope of GP responsibilities alongside leadership duties within the hospital. The role involves providing high-quality veterinary care for cats and dogs while supporting and guiding the clinical team in a collaborative setting. Doctor hours are open to discussion. This position is suited to an experienced veterinarian.

Practice Details
The hospital provides a full scope of GP services and is equipped with an onsite surgical suite, digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, IDEXX in-house labs, Vetology AI Radiography, and Butterfly iQ+ Ultrasound. The practice operates Monday through Saturday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and is closed on Sundays.

The hospital is supported by a great team of support staff and promotes a collaborative working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
