Our client is a small animal practice seeking a full-time Medical Director to join their team. Caring for dogs and cats, the hospital delivers compassionate, high-quality veterinary care within a collaborative and supportive environment. Role Description and Responsibilities
The Medical Director serves as the clinical leader and medical voice of the hospital, setting standards for medical quality, patient care, client experience, and team culture. The role combines hands-on veterinary medicine with leadership responsibilities, with the majority of time spent providing direct patient care. Clinical responsibilities include wellness and preventative care, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, urgent care, and chronic disease management. The Medical Director will mentor and support associate veterinarians, guide medical quality initiatives, and work closely with the Practice Manager to oversee hospital operations and care delivery. This position is open to experienced veterinarians only.

Practice Details
This is a small animal general practice with a high-volume caseload consisting of both wellness and medical cases. The hospital provides a wide range of services including wellness care and examinations, vaccinations, dental care, diagnostics and imaging, parasite prevention, deworming, microchipping, and nutrition and diet counselling. Equipment and facilities include digital radiography, digital dental radiography, an in-house laboratory, ultrasound, a surgical suite, and modern medical equipment. The practice is committed to providing exceptional patient care and supports its team with the resources needed to practice high-quality medicine in a collaborative environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
