Working Hours / Rota
The rota is designed to be flexible and sustainable, supporting both primary and urgent care services. Scheduling is built collaboratively, allowing the Lead Veterinarian to balance clinical leadership responsibilities with hands-on case work while maintaining consistency of care for patients.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As Lead Veterinarian, you will act as the clinical standard bearer for the hospital, guiding medical quality, mentoring associate veterinarians, and supporting a culture of thoughtful, evidence-based care. You will remain actively involved in clinical work, managing a mix of primary and urgent care cases while providing clinical oversight and support to the team. The role includes contributing to protocol development, supporting professional growth, and fostering strong client relationships through clear communication and high standards of care.

The hospital provides primary and urgent care services for dogs and cats, operating within a modern clinical environment designed to support efficient workflows and high-quality medicine. Clinical standards are veterinarian-crafted, prioritising professional judgement, patient outcomes, and consistency of care. Team
You will initially lead a small and developing clinical team, currently consisting of one veterinarian, with the opportunity to build and mentor additional veterinarians as the hospital grows. The culture is collaborative, feedback-driven, and supportive, allowing the Lead Veterinarian to have meaningful influence over both team development and clinical direction.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
