Introduction
Our client is a well-established small animal veterinary hospital that is currently seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its experienced and compassionate team. The practice provides comprehensive veterinary care to cats and dogs and has proudly served its community for over 40 years. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced veterinarian who values clinical excellence, strong client relationships, and the ability to practice advanced medicine in a supportive and fear-free environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm and on Saturdays from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, with the practice closed on Sundays. The role is open to both full-time and part-time veterinarians, with flexibility available to discuss scheduling preferences. This structure supports a balanced workload while maintaining continuity of care for patients and clients.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will diagnose and treat a wide range of small animal cases, including medical, surgical, and dental procedures. You will manage cases from initial consultation through treatment and follow-up while delivering high-quality, evidence-based care. A key part of the role involves building long-term relationships with clients through trust, clear communication, and client education. This position is suited to an experienced veterinarian with a minimum of two years of clinical experience who is confident in general practice medicine, surgery, and dentistry.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment technology, including laser therapy, ultrasound, and radiology, allowing for a high standard of patient care. The practice follows established Fear Free protocols, ensuring a low-stress and compassionate experience for both patients and clients. Services offered include preventative care, emergency services, surgery, laser surgery, chemotherapy, dermatology, oncology, diabetes management, ophthalmology, cardiology, and advanced diagnostic imaging, providing a diverse and engaging caseload.

Team
You will join a collaborative team of three DVMs, supported by a dedicated and skilled support staff. The team includes Fear Free Certified Professionals who are committed to ensuring pets experience minimal fear, stress, or anxiety during their visits. This supportive and team-oriented environment allows veterinarians to focus on delivering excellent medicine while feeling fully supported in their day-to-day work.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
