Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a thriving, well established practice hiring for a full-time Medical Director. This hospital sees cats and dogs and is seeking a leader to guide its continued success and clinical excellence.
Role Description and Responsibilities
This position involves a full scope of GP responsibilities alongside leadership duties. You will shape the medical vision of a hospital that has been a trusted part of the community since 1998, with the autonomy to lead, the support to grow, and the tools to practice exceptional medicine. The role is open to experienced veterinarians only, and doctor hours are open to discussion.
Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 AM, with limited Saturday hours and is closed on Sundays. It is a state of the art facility featuring a modern surgical suite and dental suite. Equipment includes digital radiography, advanced anesthesia and monitoring, a full range of dental tools, an in-house pharmacy, laser therapy, ultrasound, and more. Services offered include a full scope of GP care, laser therapy, stem cell therapy, and urgent care.
Team
The team consists of 2 DVMs supported by a great team of well-trained support staff. They are committed to modern medicine, continuous growth, and a collaborative approach to care.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
