Our client is a hospital seeking a Medical Director to lead their established small animal practice. Serving the community for decades, this hospital provides comprehensive care to small animals, combining wellness, advanced medical services, surgery, and urgent care. This opportunity is designed for an experienced veterinarian ready to guide clinical standards, support team development, and uphold a strong legacy of trusted patient care.

Working Hours / Rota
The position offers full-time or part-time flexibility. The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Medical Director will oversee the delivery of high-quality medical care while guiding clinical standards and supporting team development. Responsibilities include maintaining medical excellence across wellness, advanced care, surgical procedures, urgent care, and diagnostics, while mentoring fellow veterinarians and support staff. The role includes fostering a culture of continuous education, collaborating within a supportive professional network, and ensuring patients receive thorough, accurate, and compassionate care. This position is open to experienced veterinarians.

Practice Details
This hospital offers comprehensive services including Wellness and Prevention, Testing and Diagnostics, Advanced Care, Surgical Procedures, and Urgent Care. The practice emphasizes high-level, effective medicine supported by dedicated diagnostic capabilities and modern equipment, allowing clinicians to practice confidently in a safe and supportive environment. Team
The practice currently has 2 DVMs and a great tenured support team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment focused on mentorship and clinical excellence.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
