Introduction
Our client is seeking a Medical Director to lead a well established small animal hospital in Parker, Colorado. Since opening in 2009, the practice has built a strong reputation within the community for compassionate care and high quality medicine, reflected in its excellent 4.8 star Google rating. This is an opportunity for an experienced veterinarian to guide clinical standards within a respected general practice that also provides urgent care services.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. The schedule supports a structured daytime rota designed to promote consistency for the team while maintaining a healthy work life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Medical Director will lead the veterinary team while continuing to practice clinically within the hospital. Responsibilities include mentoring associate veterinarians, maintaining high medical standards, supporting team development and working closely with leadership to strengthen patient care, client service and hospital performance. The role also includes fostering collaboration across the veterinary team and guiding ongoing clinical growth.

This full service hospital focuses on small animal medicine and provides a wide range of services including wellness and prevention, diagnostics, surgery and urgent care. The practice manages a diverse caseload and emphasizes comprehensive medical care supported by strong clinical protocols and a compassionate approach to patient treatment.

Team
The hospital is supported by a team of four veterinarians alongside experienced technicians and dedicated support staff who work together to maintain a collaborative and patient focused environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
