Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a full-service veterinary hospital hiring for a Medical Director. The practice has been serving the Ponte Vedra Beach community since 1994 and focuses on delivering comprehensive veterinary medicine, advanced surgical care, and urgent care services within a respected medical environment.

Working Hours / Rota
This position offers either full-time or part-time opportunities. The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm, Saturday from 8:00am to 1:00pm, and is closed on Sundays.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Medical Director will oversee clinical operations while providing advanced veterinary care across a range of services. The role involves managing complex cases, supporting surgical procedures including orthopedic care, and collaborating with the veterinary team to maintain high medical standards. The Medical Director will also help guide the development of the clinical team while working within a supportive environment designed to encourage professional growth. This position is open to experienced veterinarians.

The hospital is a full-service veterinary practice providing comprehensive medical care for dogs and cats. The practice focuses on preventative medicine, advanced diagnostics, surgical procedures, and urgent care services. Diagnostic capabilities include advanced testing, imaging tools such as ultrasound and echocardiogram, and a range of diagnostic services designed to support early detection and treatment. Services include wellness and prevention, testing and diagnostics, advanced care, and surgical procedures. The hospital has been a trusted provider of veterinary care in the Ponte Vedra Beach community since 1994 and maintains a strong reputation reflected in its 4.8-star community rating.

Team
The hospital team consists of 3 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team, creating a collaborative and experienced working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
