Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a full-service veterinary hospital hiring for a Medical Director. The practice provides comprehensive veterinary care with a focus on routine wellness, diagnostics, and surgical procedures within a modern, technology-supported clinical environment.
Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position. The hospital operates Monday through Saturday from 8:00am to 6:00pm and is closed on Sundays.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Medical Director will oversee clinical operations while delivering high-quality veterinary care. Responsibilities include managing a varied caseload and performing procedures such as radiographs, ultrasounds, dental extractions and prophylaxis, spays and neuters, abdominal exploratory surgeries, and mass removals. The role involves guiding the clinical team while maintaining high medical standards and supporting the delivery of routine, diagnostic, and complex procedures. This position is open to experienced veterinarians.
Practice Details
The hospital is a full-service veterinary facility equipped with advanced technology designed to support high standards of veterinary medicine. Equipment includes cloud-based practice management and records software, digital and dental X-ray, Idexx diagnostics, Butterfly iQ+ handheld ultrasound, Vetology Radiograph Interpretation AI, VMED Vet-Dop2 Doppler Blood Pressure System, and VETSCAN IMAGYST. Services offered include routine wellness care, vaccinations, flea, tick, and heartworm prevention, diagnosis and treatment of illness and injury, as well as imaging, surgery, and dentistry.

Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
