Introduction
This modern general practice veterinary hospital in Orem, Utah is seeking a Medical Director to lead its growing clinical team. The practice delivers high-quality companion animal medicine, combining advanced diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and urgent care services within a collaborative and supportive environment. Currently home to one veterinarian, this is an excellent opportunity for a clinical leader who is passionate about developing both people and practice standards while continuing to deliver exceptional patient care. The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, with no weekend or overnight commitments.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As Medical Director, you’ll balance clinical responsibilities with leadership, helping shape the medical direction of the hospital while mentoring and supporting the veterinary team. You’ll provide comprehensive medical and surgical care for dogs and cats, working closely with the wider team to establish high clinical standards, support professional development, foster a positive team culture, and help drive the continued growth of the practice. The role is well suited to a veterinarian who enjoys mentoring colleagues, introducing new ideas, and building strong relationships with both clients and staff.

Practice Details
The practice is equipped with advanced technology including CT, ultrasound, digital radiography, ozone therapy, advanced dentistry, and modern surgical facilities, allowing doctors to deliver progressive, high-quality companion animal medicine across a broad range of cases. Alongside general practice services, the hospital also offers urgent care appointments, creating a varied and engaging caseload without the requirement for overnight work. The practice places significant emphasis on continuous learning, encouraging veterinarians to expand their clinical skills through mentorship, collaboration, and access to advanced diagnostics and treatment options.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
