Our client is a hospital hiring a full-time Medical Director to lead a collaborative small animal practice providing comprehensive care for dogs and cats. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced veterinarian looking to combine leadership responsibilities with high-quality clinical care in a supportive, community-focused environment.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Medical Director will provide comprehensive veterinary care including wellness and preventative medicine, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and end-of-life care while helping lead and support the clinical team. Responsibilities include overseeing medical quality, fostering collaboration within the hospital, building strong client relationships, and supporting a positive team culture. This role is best suited to an experienced veterinarian with strong leadership abilities and a passion for small animal medicine and surgical care.
Practice Details
This well-established small animal hospital offers a modern facility equipped to support high-quality medicine and patient care. Services include comprehensive pet exams, state-of-the-art diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, microchipping, online pharmacy services, and compassionate end-of-life care. The hospital is committed to preventative medicine, client trust, and delivering compassionate care within a collaborative practice environment. Operating hours are Monday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Tuesday from 8:30 am to 8:00 pm, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Friday from 8:30 am to 8:00 pm, and Saturday from 8:30 am to 2:00 pm.

Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
