Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital that has long been a trusted part of the community, providing high-quality, individualized care and building lasting relationships with pets and their people. They are seeking a full-time Medical Director to lead their team while continuing to provide exceptional care to cats and dogs.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Medical Director will be responsible for the full scope of GP responsibilities alongside leadership duties within the hospital. This role will involve delivering high-quality veterinary care while supporting and guiding the clinical team. Doctor hours are open to discussion. The position is suited to an experienced veterinarian who is confident in both clinical practice and leadership responsibilities.
Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, Saturday from 8 am to 12:30 pm, and closed on Sundays. The practice is well-equipped and offers the full scope of GP services for cats and dogs.
Team
The team consists of 4 DVMs supported by a great team of support staff, creating a collaborative working environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
