Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital hiring for a Medical Director. This is a full-service veterinary setting where the successful candidate will lead a team while delivering high-quality care in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and is closed on Wednesday and Sunday.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As Medical Director, you will provide medical leadership while remaining actively involved in clinical work, including examining and treating patients, performing surgery, and delivering preventative and diagnostic care. Responsibilities include leading the veterinary team, supporting collaboration, maintaining high medical standards, and ensuring excellent client service. This position also involves all responsibilities typically associated with a General Practice Veterinarian, with a clinical focus on wellness care, dentistry, internal medicine, and outpatient surgical procedures. The role requires confidence in small animal surgery, with reproduction experience strongly preferred, along with strong clinical judgment, clear communication, and the ability to manage general practice cases independently. The position is suited to experienced veterinarians.

This full-service veterinary hospital provides a range of services including routine wellness, vaccinations, flea, tick and heartworm prevention, illness and injury care, imaging, surgery, and dentistry. The facility is equipped with ultrasound in every hospital, heated hydraulic surgery tables, digital diagnostic radiography, a full surgical suite, dental x-rays, IDEXX in-house lab capabilities, Butterfly iQ+ Ultrasound, and Vetology AI Radiography, supporting a high standard of care. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
