Our client is a full-service companion animal hospital that is hiring for a full-time Medical Director. The hospital sees cats and dogs and has been serving its community since 2005, earning the deep trust of clients as reflected in its excellent 4.8-star Google rating.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves a full scope of Medical Director responsibilities within a collaborative and patient-focused clinical environment. As the Medical Director, the successful candidate will champion medical excellence throughout the hospital, mentoring and developing associate veterinarians while partnering closely with the Practice Manager to build a healthy and engaged team. The position also involves driving the continuous improvement of patient care and client service, setting the standard for clinical quality, and fostering a culture of collaboration and growth. Specific doctor hours will be discussed. This opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian with a minimum of two years of practical clinical experience.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday from 8:00am to 7:00pm, Tuesday through Thursday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Friday from 8:00am to 7:00pm, Saturday from 8:00am to 12:00pm, and is closed on Sundays. Equipment available includes, but is not limited to, digital X-ray and digital dental X-ray. The practice offers services including orthopedics, urgent care, laser therapy, and a full scope of general practice services. In addition, the hospital also provides climate controlled pet boarding, supporting a comprehensive approach to patient and client care.

Team
The practice is home to a team of three veterinarians working within a collaborative and supportive clinical environment. The successful candidate will work alongside talented veterinary technicians, creating a smooth, team-oriented setting focused on quality patient care and professional support.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
