Introduction
Our client is a small animal hospital seeking a full-time Lead Veterinarian to join their team, working with dogs and cats. This is an opportunity to take on a leadership role within a well-established practice known for delivering high standards of care and maintaining strong community trust.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Lead Veterinarian will combine clinical excellence with leadership responsibilities, guiding the medical direction of the hospital while delivering high-quality patient care. You will manage a range of cases including diagnostics, internal medicine, and surgical procedures, ensuring the highest standards are upheld. In addition to clinical duties, you will support and mentor the veterinary team, contribute to a positive and collaborative culture, and help maintain efficient workflows. Strong client communication, case management, and a commitment to high-quality medicine are essential. This role is suited to an experienced veterinarian.

Practice Details
This is a small animal hospital dedicated exclusively to dogs and cats, offering comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services. The hospital is AAHA accredited, reflecting adherence to the highest standards of veterinary care and safety. Services include testing and diagnostics, advanced care, and surgical procedures, supported by access to internal specialty consultations for complex cases. The practice operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and is closed on weekends. The environment is designed to support high-quality medicine with a focus on collaboration, continuous learning, and professional development. The hospital is also a cat-friendly practice and includes additional facilities such as an on-site kennel.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
