Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a full-time Medical Director to lead their veterinary team. This role involves working with dogs and cats in a small animal practice, delivering high-quality care within a supportive environment backed by advanced facilities and technology.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Medical Director will provide clinical leadership while supporting and mentoring the veterinary team. Responsibilities include overseeing medical standards, delivering patient care across wellness and illness cases, and performing procedures such as surgery, dentistry, and diagnostics. The role also involves fostering a collaborative team culture, supporting staff development, and maintaining strong client relationships. This position is suited to an experienced veterinarian with strong leadership skills and a commitment to high-quality medicine.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Thursday from 8:00am to 4:00pm and is closed Friday through Sunday. Services offered include preventive care, wellness exams, vaccinations, flea and tick control, parasite control, microchipping, diagnostics, digital radiology, ultrasound, dentistry, general surgery including spays and neuters, anesthesia, pain management, health certificates, house calls, and euthanasia services. The facility includes an in-office surgical suite, in-house pharmacy, and full diagnostic capabilities, supporting a comprehensive range of primary care services. The practice emphasizes high standards of medicine, collaboration, and professional growth within a well-supported environment.

Team
The team consists of 1 DVM supported by a tenured support staff, creating a close-knit and collaborative working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
