Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking an experienced Managing DVM to lead their hybrid mobile and hospital-based practice. The clinic cares for dogs and cats and offers both in-home and in-hospital care.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to noon, and is closed on Sundays. Mobile services run Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The position is available on a full-time basis.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The role involves leading and mentoring the veterinary and support teams, overseeing medical operations, and maintaining high standards of patient care. Clinical responsibilities include wellness care, vaccines, surgery, dentistry, digital imaging, ultrasound, in-house diagnostics, chiropractic care, laser therapy, and both in-home and in-hospital services. The position is suited to an experienced veterinarian with strong leadership skills and a passion for mentorship.
Practice Details
The hospital offers a wide range of services, supported by equipment including digital X-rays, ultrasound, and an in-house laboratory. Facilities include both a state-of-the-art hospital and a fully equipped mobile service. The practice is Fear Free Certified and Cat-Friendly Certified. Services cover canine and feline wellness care, laser therapy, dentistry, digital imaging, microchipping, vaccinations, pharmacy support, and ultrasound. Surgical capabilities include spay and neuter, mass removal or biopsy, laceration repair, urinary bladder surgery, abdominal exploratory procedures, oral surgery and dentistry, and emergency surgery.

The practice is staffed by four DVMs and a dedicated support team. The environment is collaborative, compassionate, and focused on delivering accessible and high-quality care, with a strong emphasis on mentorship and professional growth.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
