Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a well-established small animal veterinary practice that is hiring for a full-time Medical Director. The hospital sees cats and dogs and offers a collaborative clinical environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care and client service.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves a full scope of Medical Director responsibilities within a supportive and team-oriented clinical environment. The successful candidate will oversee clinical standards while supporting the continued delivery of high-quality veterinary care and client communication across the practice. Doctor hours will be discussed. This opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian with strong leadership and clinical skills.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Saturday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, and is closed on Sundays. Equipment available includes, but is not limited to, digital X-ray, in-house laboratory equipment, therapeutic laser technology, and digital dental X-ray. The practice also features an in-office surgical suite and is an AAHA-accredited facility. Services offered include a full scope of general practice services. In addition, the hospital also provides nutritional counseling and climate controlled pet boarding, supporting a comprehensive approach to patient and client care.

Team
The practice is home to one veterinarian supported by four support staff members. Together, they create a collaborative and supportive clinical environment focused on delivering exceptional veterinary care to both clients and patients.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
