Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital providing care for a diverse range of species, including cats, dogs, birds, reptiles, pocket pets, small farm animals, and other larger species. They are seeking a full-time Medical Director to join the hospital.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Medical Director will combine clinical responsibilities with their leadership role, providing a full scope of general practice veterinary care. This opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian, with doctor hours open to discussion.
Practice Details
The hospital is well equipped and provides a full scope of general practice services, including wellness, preventative care, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery, and dentistry, alongside reproductive services. The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM and closes daily between 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM for lunch. The hospital is closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
Team
The hospital is home to two DVMs alongside a great team of support staff. The team is described as fun, caring, and trustworthy, while the doctors uphold an excellent standard of care.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
