Our client is a hospital providing comprehensive care for dogs and cats and is seeking a full-time Medical Director to lead its veterinary team. Role Description and Responsibilities
As Medical Director, you will provide clinical leadership while maintaining an active role in patient care. You will be responsible for promoting high standards of veterinary medicine, mentoring and developing team members, supporting hospital operations, and ensuring an exceptional experience for both patients and clients. Clinical responsibilities include routine wellness care, vaccinations, microchipping, diagnosis and treatment of illness and injury, preventive healthcare, and parasite prevention programs. You will work closely with hospital staff to maintain efficient workflows, support team training initiatives, oversee medical quality, and foster a collaborative and motivated hospital culture. This position is suited to an experienced veterinarian with strong leadership abilities and a passion for building successful teams.

Practice Details
This full-service small animal hospital is dedicated to providing high-quality care through a combination of preventive medicine, wellness services, diagnostics, and treatment for illness and injury. Services offered include routine wellness care, vaccinations, microchipping, illness and injury assessments, diagnostic imaging, flea, tick, and heartworm prevention, and prescription management. The hospital focuses on creating positive experiences for pets and pet owners while maintaining a patient-centered approach to care. Hospital hours are Monday through Saturday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with the hospital closed on Sundays.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
