Introduction
Our client is a well-established, full-service small animal hospital located in Moreno Valley, California. They are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Director to lead their clinical team and elevate standards of care. This is a fantastic opportunity for a veterinarian with strong leadership skills who thrives in a collaborative and client-focused environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Saturday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. It is closed on Sundays. The Medical Director role offers a full-time schedule with leadership responsibilities integrated into the clinical Rota.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Medical Director will be responsible for overseeing medical protocols, mentoring veterinary staff, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care. This role includes a mix of clinical duties—such as internal medicine, dentistry, surgery, and preventive care—and leadership responsibilities. The successful candidate will help shape the practice’s medical direction, support team development, and uphold a positive, efficient work culture.

Practice Details
The hospital offers a comprehensive range of veterinary services, from routine exams and vaccinations to dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and rehabilitative care such as cold laser therapy. It is well-equipped with digital x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, ECG/EKG, digital dental radiography, and an in-house lab for diagnostics including bloodwork, urinalysis, and fecal exams. The practice values both appointments and walk-in accessibility, supporting a flexible and service-driven approach to client care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
