Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital that is hiring for a full or part-time Medical Director. The hospital sees cats, dogs, and exotic and pocket pets and has been setting the standard for outstanding veterinary care for over 60 years. The facility was built from the ground up in 1971 and continues to provide high-quality veterinary medicine within a collaborative and patient-focused environment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves a full scope of Medical Director responsibilities within a busy and well-established hospital environment. The successful candidate will lead the medical team while delivering high-quality patient care across a varied caseload, supporting both general practice and urgent care cases. Responsibilities include maintaining high clinical standards, mentoring veterinary colleagues, and helping drive continued medical excellence throughout the hospital. Specific doctor hours will be discussed. This opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian with 3–5+ years of experience in a veterinary practice, along with strong diagnostic, clinical, surgical, and dental skills.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Saturday from 8:00am to 1:00pm, and is closed on Sundays. Equipment available includes, but is not limited to, digital dental X-ray, digital X-ray, an in-house laboratory, ultrasound, and Endoscope technology, supporting advanced diagnostics and patient care across a varied caseload. Facilities include an in-house pharmacy designed to support efficient treatment and continuity of care. The hospital has maintained AAHA accreditation for 60 years, reflecting its long-standing commitment to high standards of veterinary medicine. Services offered include orthopedics, cold laser therapy, and urgent care services. In addition, the practice also provides nutritional counselling.

The hospital is home to a team of well-trained veterinarians supported by a skilled and compassionate team of technicians, assistants, and client service professionals. The practice maintains a minimum 2:1 technician-to-doctor ratio, ensuring veterinarians are well supported in delivering high-quality patient care. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
