Our client is a hospital that is hiring a full-time Medical Director to lead its veterinary team while continuing to provide exceptional patient care. This full-service animal hospital cares for cats, dogs, and other small companion animals, offering a rewarding leadership opportunity within a well-equipped and collaborative clinical environment. The role is ideal for an experienced veterinarian looking to combine hands-on medicine with hospital leadership and team development.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This position involves undertaking the full scope of Medical Director responsibilities while serving as the clinical leader of the hospital. The successful candidate will provide high-quality medical care, mentor and support fellow veterinarians, help guide clinical standards, and contribute to the continued success of the practice. Candidates should possess strong diagnostic and clinical skills, along with excellent surgical and dental abilities. This opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian with 3–5+ years of experience in a veterinary practice who is looking to take the next step into a leadership role. Specific working hours are to be discussed, with no weekend commitments.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm and is closed on weekends, supporting an excellent work-life balance. Providing a full scope of GP services, the practice is equipped with modern diagnostic and treatment technology including, but not limited to, an in-house laboratory, Digital X-Ray, Digital Dental X-Ray, Surgical Lasers, and Endoscopy equipment. Additional facilities include an in-house pharmacy, allowing for efficient patient care and treatment. The hospital also provides breeding consulting services, further expanding the range of support available to clients and their pets.

Team
You will be joining a team of 3 DVMs supported by a full team of skilled support staff. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
