Job Description
Introduction
This general practice and urgent care hospital in the Mesa, Arizona area is seeking a Medical Director and Co-Owner to lead its next chapter. This is an opportunity for a veterinarian who enjoys leadership, collaboration, and autonomy to shape the future of the hospital while building long-term equity. Backed by an experienced operational support team, you’ll have the freedom to lead the medicine, develop your team, and grow a practice that reflects your own clinical vision.
Role Description and Responsibilities
As Medical Director, you’ll split your time between practising high-quality medicine and leading the clinical direction of the hospital. You’ll establish medical standards, mentor associate veterinarians, support hiring and team development, oversee clinical quality, and work closely with the practice leadership team to drive growth. Alongside your leadership responsibilities, you’ll enjoy meaningful ownership through a structured co-ownership model with monthly profit distributions and long-term equity creation.

Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
