Introduction
Our client is a VECCS-accredited veterinary hospital located in Meredith, in New Hampshire’s Lakes Region, seeking a full-time Medical Director. For more than 14 years, the hospital has provided compassionate, high-quality after-hours emergency and urgent care to pets and their families.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As Medical Director, you’ll help guide the team’s medical direction, supporting skilled emergency medicine, thoughtful client communication and the highest standard of patient care. You’ll work alongside colleagues to deliver compassionate care when pets and their families need it most. This position is open to experienced veterinarians only.

Practice Details
The state-of-the-art emergency animal hospital provides after-hours emergency and urgent veterinary care throughout the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. The spacious, modern facility features three exam rooms, upgraded x-ray software, ultrasound, a large surgery suite, and a large comfort room. Services include surgery, urgent care, and end-of-life care. The hospital offers a pet-friendly workplace where staff may bring their own pets when needed or preferred. Close relationships with New Hampshire Pet Aid, SCAPS, and ElderPet reflect its commitment to the local pet community.

Team
You will work alongside experienced emergency veterinarians and a dedicated, highly skilled support team, including two full-time certified technicians, who help make each day smoother, more rewarding, and enjoyable. The culture is built on respect, collaboration, and a shared love for animals and the people who care for them.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
