Our client is a hospital looking to hire a full-time Medical Director. Providing high-quality veterinary care for cats, dogs, and pocket pets, the hospital has been a community-trusted institution serving Menasha since 1963 and has earned an excellent 4.7-star Google rating through its commitment to exceptional patient care. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced veterinarian to lead a well-established practice while continuing to deliver progressive companion animal medicine.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role encompasses the full scope of Medical Director responsibilities, combining clinical leadership with hands-on patient care. This is a predominantly clinical leadership opportunity, with approximately 80–90% of your time spent practicing medicine while leading by example, fostering collaboration, and helping shape the medical direction of the hospital. You will provide preventative, medical, and surgical care for cats, dogs, and pocket pets, performing comprehensive physical examinations, diagnosing and treating a broad range of medical conditions, developing treatment plans, and carrying out routine surgical procedures. In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you will support fellow veterinarians, help elevate clinical standards, and contribute to the continued success of the hospital by promoting a collaborative and positive working environment. Specific working hours will be discussed further. This opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian.

Practice Details
The practice provides the full scope of General Practice services alongside Orthopedics and Urgent Care. The hospital is equipped with, but not limited to, Digital Dental Radiography, an In-House IDEXX Laboratory, Digital Radiology, Advanced Monitoring Equipment, a new Ultrasound Unit, and a Therapeutic Laser, supporting advanced diagnostics and patient care. Facilities include multiple exam rooms, a large dedicated surgery suite, a full dental suite, and a spacious treatment area designed for smooth workflow, including heated kennel floors, UV disinfection lights, and separate dog and cat spaces. The practice is AAHA-accredited, reflecting its commitment to maintaining the highest standards of veterinary medicine. In addition to its core veterinary services, the hospital also provides Acupuncture. The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays.

You will be joining a team of 8 DVMs, supported by a passionate and highly experienced team of certified technicians, veterinary assistants, and client service representatives. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
