Our client is a practice providing comprehensive veterinary care for dogs and cats in Mebane, North Carolina, and is seeking an experienced Medical Director Veterinarian to join the team on a full-time basis. The practice is AAHA-accredited and is committed to delivering high-quality small animal medicine while maintaining exceptional standards of patient care and safety. Role Description and Responsibilities
The Medical Director Veterinarian will provide clinical leadership while delivering comprehensive veterinary care, including wellness examinations, preventive medicine, diagnostic testing, advanced medical treatments, and surgical procedures. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating medical conditions, developing appropriate treatment plans, and maintaining high standards of veterinary medicine and patient safety. The role also involves building lasting relationships with clients, communicating clinical findings and treatment recommendations, and educating pet owners to support informed decisions about their animals’ health. As Medical Director, the successful candidate will contribute to clinical leadership, support collaboration across the veterinary team, and help maintain a positive working environment focused on high-quality patient care. This position is specifically for an experienced veterinarian.

Practice Details
The practice is AAHA-accredited and offers a comprehensive range of small animal veterinary services, including wellness and preventive care, diagnostic testing, advanced medical care, and surgical procedures. Additional services include behavioral therapy, cardiology, laser therapy, ophthalmology, orthopedics, and pain management. The practice provides dedicated surgical capabilities and access to internal specialty consultations for complex medical cases, supporting comprehensive, evidence-based veterinary medicine. As part of a wider veterinary network, the practice benefits from continuing education resources, structured professional development opportunities, and mentorship programs. Opening hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM and Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with the practice closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
