Introduction
Our client is a well-equipped small animal hospital seeking a full-time Medical Director to lead their team, providing care to dogs and cats in a collaborative and high-quality clinical environment.
Role Description and Responsibilities
As Medical Director, you will balance hands-on clinical work with leadership responsibilities, delivering high-quality care across wellness, internal medicine, dentistry, and surgery. You will guide and mentor associate veterinarians, promote a culture of clinical excellence, and support the development of the team while maintaining strong client relationships. The role involves overseeing medical standards, supporting hospital operations, and ensuring patients receive the highest level of care. You will also be responsible for diagnosing and treating cases, performing surgical and dental procedures, and collaborating closely with your team to drive positive outcomes. This position is suited to an experienced veterinarian.
Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm and is closed on weekends, offering a balanced schedule. The facility is well-equipped with advanced technology including digital radiology, ultrasound, and cold laser, as well as hands-free radiology. Services provided include primary care, preventive medicine, internal medicine, dentistry and dental X-rays, general and soft tissue surgery, advanced dental care, rehabilitation, diagnostics, hospitalization, and geriatric care. The hospital is AAHA accredited, demonstrating a commitment to maintaining high standards across all aspects of veterinary care. The practice focuses on delivering quality medicine in a supportive and collaborative environment, backed by strong infrastructure and professional resources.

Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
