Our client is a hospital providing comprehensive care for dogs and cats and is seeking a full-time Medical Director to lead its veterinary team. Role Description and Responsibilities
As Medical Director, you will provide clinical leadership while maintaining an active role in patient care. Responsibilities include overseeing medical standards, supporting and mentoring veterinary and support staff, fostering a cohesive and motivated team culture, and ensuring exceptional client and patient experiences. You will collaborate closely with hospital leadership, help guide hospital operations, support staff training and development, and uphold high standards of veterinary medicine. Clinical responsibilities include wellness and preventive care, diagnosis and treatment of illness and injury, surgery, dentistry, emergency and urgent care cases, anesthesia support, laboratory diagnostics, and patient management. This opportunity is best suited to an experienced veterinarian with strong leadership skills and a passion for developing teams while delivering outstanding patient care.

Practice Details
This full-service small animal hospital offers a wide range of veterinary services designed to support pets throughout every stage of life. Services include routine wellness care, vaccinations, microchipping, flea, tick and heartworm prevention, illness and injury treatment, diagnostic imaging, and preventive healthcare. The hospital emphasizes a patient-first approach and is supported by modern veterinary equipment, including ultrasound in every hospital, heated hydraulic surgery tables, and digital diagnostic radiography. The practice focuses on creating an exceptional experience for both pets and pet owners while maintaining a collaborative and supportive workplace culture. Hospital hours are Monday through Saturday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with the hospital closed on Sundays.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
