Our client is a small animal general practice hospital in Manchester, Connecticut. They are seeking a Medical Director to join their leadership team. This role is ideal for a veterinarian who is passionate about guiding clinical excellence, fostering a positive workplace culture, and supporting both staff and client success. The practice emphasizes trust, care, thinking, ownership, learning, and growth.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Thursday from 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM and Friday from 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM. This is a full-time leadership role.
Role Description and Responsibilities
As a key leader in the hospital, the Medical Director will drive positive change and growth, shaping the hospital’s vision and maintaining high standards of care. Responsibilities include partnering with the practice manager and leadership team to develop strategies, implement improvements, and guide the hospital toward excellence in patient and client care. Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
