Introduction
Our client is a general practice hospital seeking a full-time Medical Director Veterinarian to join their team. The hospital provides care for dogs and cats and is looking for an experienced veterinarian to take on a leadership role within a well-established practice.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Medical Director Veterinarian will combine clinical and leadership responsibilities, including performing comprehensive patient exams, medical work-ups, diagnostic procedures, and surgery. The role involves client communication and education, maintaining accurate medical records, and managing pharmacy duties. In addition, the Medical Director will oversee protocols, monitor case standards, lead daily rounds where possible, and work closely with management on hospital operations and priorities. Mentoring DVMs, promoting teamwork, and supporting staff efficiency are key aspects of the role. This position is suited to an experienced veterinarian with a passion for leadership and high medical standards.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 09:00 am to 06:00 pm and is closed on weekends. It is a modern, spacious veterinary facility designed to support high-quality patient care and client experience. The practice is equipped with advanced technology including an in-house laboratory, digital radiography, dental radiography, and ultrasound. Facilities include a fully equipped surgical suite with optimized workflow, separate canine and feline lobbies and kennel areas, large exam rooms, electronic medical records, a spacious treatment area, a well-stocked pharmacy, and dedicated office space. The hospital offers a wide range of services including wellness exams, vaccinations, diagnostic services, dental care, surgery, rehabilitation, cold laser therapy, preventative care, microchipping, and general veterinary medicine. The practice promotes compassionate, high-quality care within a welcoming and collaborative environment.

Team
The team consists of 1 DVM supported by a tenured support team, creating a close-knit, family-oriented, and collaborative environment where team members support each other and focus on delivering excellent patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
