Our client is a hospital that is hiring a full-time Medical Director to lead its veterinary team while continuing to provide exceptional patient care. This full-service veterinary hospital has been serving the community for over 30 years and offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced veterinarian seeking a leadership position within a well-established and collaborative practice caring for cats and dogs.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This position involves undertaking the full scope of Medical Director responsibilities while serving as the clinical leader of the hospital. The successful candidate will provide high-quality medical care, mentor and support fellow veterinarians, help guide clinical standards, and contribute to the continued growth and success of the practice. Candidates should possess strong diagnostic and clinical skills, along with excellent surgical and dental abilities. This opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian with 1+ years of experience in a veterinary practice who is looking to combine clinical excellence with leadership responsibilities. Specific working hours are to be discussed.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 5:00pm and Saturday from 9:00am to 3:00pm, with Sundays closed. Providing a full scope of GP services, the practice also offers Urgent Care services, creating a varied and engaging caseload. The hospital is equipped with modern diagnostic technology including, but not limited to, an in-house laboratory, Ultrasound, Digital X-Ray, and Digital Dental X-Ray. Additional facilities include an in-house pharmacy, supporting efficient diagnosis, treatment, and continuity of care. The practice also provides cold laser therapy, further expanding the treatment options available to patients.

You will be working alongside 3 DVMs supported by dedicated veterinary technicians and client service professionals who share a commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care. The hospital is led by a supportive leadership team focused on the success and well-being of its associates, fostering a collaborative culture built on teamwork, communication, and professional growth. Together, the team works seamlessly to deliver exceptional patient care and client service while maintaining a positive and supportive workplace environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
