Introduction
Our client is a hospital looking to hire a full-time Medical Director. Serving the community since 1985, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced veterinarian to lead the clinical direction of the practice while continuing to provide high-quality veterinary care.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role covers the full scope of Medical Director responsibilities, combining hands-on clinical practice with hospital leadership. You’ll provide preventative, medical, surgical, and wellness care while leading by example to maintain high clinical standards throughout the practice. Responsibilities include overseeing complex case management, supporting the continued delivery of exceptional patient care, mentoring and guiding the veterinary team, and helping shape the medical direction of the hospital. You’ll also perform routine examinations, diagnose and treat a wide variety of medical conditions, develop tailored treatment plans, carry out surgical and dental procedures, and promote preventative healthcare through client education. Specific working hours will be discussed during the interview process. This opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian with at least three years of experience in a veterinary practice, strong diagnostic and clinical skills, and excellent surgical and dental skills.

Practice Details
The hospital provides the full scope of GP services, delivering comprehensive preventative care, routine wellness examinations, diagnostic evaluations, medical treatments, and surgical procedures. The practice is equipped with advanced diagnostic equipment and facilities including, but not limited to, an in-house laboratory, ultrasound, digital radiography, dental radiography, and an in-house pharmacy. The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Team
You’ll be leading a team of 2 DVMs, supported by dedicated veterinary technicians and client service professionals who share a commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care. Together, the team works seamlessly to deliver exceptional patient care and client service while maintaining a positive and supportive workplace environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
