Introduction
Our client is a modern general practice providing comprehensive veterinary care for cats and dogs. They are seeking an experienced Lead Veterinarian to join the practice on a full-time basis. The practice takes a technology-forward approach to veterinary medicine, providing veterinarians with the tools, structure, and support needed to deliver high-quality care while maintaining boundaries between work and life.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Lead Veterinarian will lead a team of veterinarians by modeling excellent medical practice and mentoring associate doctors to improve client satisfaction, teamwork, medical quality, record keeping, and efficiency. They will empower the care team to deliver an exceptional client experience and collaborate with the clinic manager to drive performance across medical quality, member experience, and employee engagement. The role also involves fostering continuous learning and development, promoting a blame- and judgment-free working environment, and leading initiatives that support the well-being of the clinical team. Clinical responsibilities include a full scope of general practice and urgent care services alongside soft tissue surgery, including foreign object removal, mass removal, and gastropexy. This position is specifically for an experienced veterinarian.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
