Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital group hiring for a full-time Regional Medical Director to guide clinical standards across multiple veterinary locations. This role focuses on leading doctor teams, elevating medical quality and supporting the delivery of excellent patient and client care.
Working Hours / Rota
This position is full time, working at numerous sites.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Regional Medical Director will serve as the clinical standard-bearer, setting and upholding the highest standard of veterinary care across assigned hospitals. Responsibilities include developing doctor teams through formal reviews, coaching and tailored development plans; leading monthly doctor meetings to advance best practices and hospital workflows; and overseeing recruitment and onboarding of new veterinarians. Duties also involve partnering with a Regional Operations Director to address scheduling needs and prioritize medical equipment purchasing. The role includes supervising intern and extern programs and representing the organization at veterinary colleges. This position requires an experienced veterinarian with prior multi-site management experience.
