Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their small animal and exotics practice. This is a full-time opportunity providing care to dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, small mammals, and other exotic pets (30% exotics). The hospital has been serving its community for almost 50 years and is committed to delivering high-quality, progressive, individualized medical care supported by advanced diagnostic capabilities.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide high-quality medical and surgical care to a diverse caseload consisting of approximately 70% small animal and 30% exotic patients. Responsibilities include performing examinations, diagnosing and treating medical conditions, carrying out surgical procedures, administering vaccinations, operating diagnostic equipment including X-ray machines, prescribing medications, and educating clients on preventative care and treatment options. The role also involves working closely with the veterinary team to deliver exceptional patient care in a collaborative environment. Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and is closed on weekends, supporting a strong work-life balance with no weekend hours. The practice offers wellness care, dental care, surgical services, diagnostics, urgent care, nutrition, pharmacy services, microchipping, end-of-life care, and comprehensive care for exotic pets. The hospital features an advanced surgical suite equipped with a CO₂ surgical laser, allowing procedures ranging from soft tissue and orthopedic surgery to emergency surgery. The surgical facilities are designed to accommodate patients of all sizes and species, supporting one of the few exotic pet surgical services in the surrounding area. The hospital is committed to practicing progressive, individualized medicine and provides a collaborative environment with strong mentorship, allowing veterinarians to grow their skills while practicing high-quality medicine.

The hospital is staffed by four DVMs and is supported by a tenured, collaborative team that values mentorship, teamwork, and professional development. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
