Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves a full scope of Medical Director responsibilities within a busy and collaborative hospital setting. The successful candidate will be involved in complex case management spanning wellness and preventative care, sophisticated diagnostics and testing, advanced medical care, and surgical procedures. As the Medical Lead Veterinarian, you will serve as the champion of medical excellence within the hospital while mentoring and developing associate veterinarians and partnering closely with the Practice Manager to build a healthy, engaged, and high-performing team. The role also includes driving the continuous improvement of patient care and client service while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth throughout the practice. Specific doctor hours will be discussed. This opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian with a minimum of two years of practical clinical experience who is passionate about leadership, mentorship, and advancing high-quality veterinary medicine.
