Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring a full-time or part-time Associate Veterinarian to join a respected small animal practice caring for cats and dogs. This is an opportunity to genuinely advance animal health while taking pride in being part of a highly respected practice. The hospital is looking for a veterinarian who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care within a collaborative and supportive environment.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will diagnose and treat patients, perform surgical and dental procedures, educate clients, and work collaboratively with the veterinary team to deliver high-quality patient care. The practice is open to discussing working hours to create a schedule that suits both the successful candidate and the hospital. Applications are welcomed from both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with mentorship and a strong network of support available to help develop clinical skills and confidence.
Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm and Saturday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. Services include wellness care, allergy management, dermatology, diagnostics, behaviour consultations, ophthalmology, orthopaedics, pain management, and urgent care. The practice features fantastic facilities and is equipped with radiology, ultrasound, and ECG technology to support the delivery of high-quality veterinary medicine.
Team
The team consists of 2 DVMs supported by a fantastic team of support staff, creating a collaborative environment focused on providing exceptional care for patients and clients.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
