Introduction
Our client is a hospital looking to hire a full-time Medical Director. This 24/7 emergency, urgent care, and specialty veterinary hospital provides high-quality care for cats and dogs, offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to help drive clinical excellence while working alongside a collaborative veterinary team.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role encompasses the full scope of Medical Director responsibilities, with approximately 50% of your time dedicated to serving as Medical Director and the remaining 50% focused on clinical practice. You will provide both leadership and hands-on patient care, helping to maintain high clinical standards while supporting the hospital’s continued success. Specific working hours will be discussed further. The practice is seeking an experienced veterinarian for this leadership opportunity.

Practice Details
The hospital operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, providing continuous emergency care for companion animals. The practice offers the full scope of Emergency Services within a modern, state-of-the-art facility designed to support high-quality patient care around the clock. In addition to emergency medicine, the hospital also provides specialty services in ophthalmology, urgent care, rehabilitation, sports and integrative medicine, and surgery, allowing for a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to patient care. This diverse range of services creates a varied referral caseload while ensuring patients have access to comprehensive treatment under one roof.

Team
You will be joining a team of eight veterinarians, supported by a passionate and highly experienced team of certified technicians, veterinary assistants, and client service representatives. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
