Our client is a full-service veterinary hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana, seeking a Medical Director to lead their clinical team and deliver exceptional veterinary care. Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position, with hospital hours on Thursday from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM. The hospital is closed Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, offering an excellent work-life balance and schedule flexibility.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Medical Director will oversee all aspects of patient care, clinical quality, and hospital performance while continuing to practice medicine as a lead clinician. Responsibilities include providing wellness and diagnostic care, performing surgeries and dental procedures, and ensuring the highest standards of client service. The role also involves reviewing hospital performance, mentoring team members, and partnering with field leadership to foster continuous improvement and operational excellence. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians seeking career advancement and leaders looking to combine medical expertise with impactful team leadership.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including cloud-based practice management software, digital and dental X-ray, Idexx diagnostic tools, Butterfly iQ+ handheld ultrasound, Vetology AI radiograph interpretation, VMED Vet-Dop2 Doppler Blood Pressure System, and VETSCAN IMAGYST. The facility offers a full range of veterinary services, including vaccinations, wellness exams, illness and injury care, imaging, surgery, and dentistry. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
