Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a modern general practice hospital providing veterinary care for cats and dogs and is seeking a full-time Lead Veterinarian. With a technology-forward approach and a deep commitment to its people, the group is building the next generation of general practice veterinary care—one that balances the needs of practitioners just as much as pet owners and their animals.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Lead Veterinarian will provide a full scope of general practice care alongside taking on in-clinic leadership responsibilities. This position is suited to an experienced DVM who is comfortable combining clinical practice with a leadership role. Doctor hours are open to discussion, with structured schedules designed to give veterinarians time to catch their breath. Doctors work a single flow per shift, focusing on either exams, urgent care, or procedures.
Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday through Saturday from 8am to 6pm and provides a full scope of general practice services alongside urgent care. General practice services include wellness and preventative care, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery, and dentistry. The state-of-the-art, modern facility is well equipped with digital x-ray, digital dental technology, in-house laboratories, and ultrasound. The hospital also utilizes an in-house technology platform designed to reduce the time veterinarians spend on administrative tasks and take the headache out of record-keeping.
Team
The hospital has a team of two DVMs and offers a vibrant, supportive, blame-free culture made up of people who are all there to change veterinary medicine for the better.
