Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital currently hiring for a full-time Medical Director. This role involves working with cats and dogs in a well-equipped clinical environment focused on delivering high-quality care.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This position covers the full scope of general practice responsibilities, including a broad range of clinical duties. The role is suited for an experienced veterinarian. Veterinarians are currently averaging 34 hours a week of appointment time, with a set day off during the week and rotating Saturday shifts. There is no on-call requirement.

Practice Details
The hospital is open six days a week, Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 7:00pm and Saturday from 8:00am to 2:00pm. It is equipped with ultrasound, Digital X-Ray, and Dental X-Ray, though equipment is not limited to these. The facility includes an in-house pharmacy and is AAHA accredited. Services offered include Cold Laser Therapy, Radioactive Iodine Therapy, Laser Surgery, and the full scope of general practice services. The hospital is committed to using fear-free techniques whenever possible.

Team
The team consists of three seasoned veterinarians, each with over 20 years of experience. Veterinarians, technicians, and support staff are trained to the highest standards, fostering a collaborative and well-supported environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
