Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a full-time Medical Director to join their team. The hospital provides care for cats and dogs and is looking for an experienced veterinarian to lead the practice while continuing to provide high-quality patient care.
Role Description and Responsibilities
This Medical Director position offers a combination of clinical practice and leadership responsibilities. The role involves a mix of wellness care, diagnostics, surgery, and leadership duties, providing the opportunity to guide the clinical direction of the hospital while maintaining an active caseload. The schedule consists of a 4-day workweek with no weekends, supporting a strong work-life balance. Candidates should have at least 4 years of experience in a clinic setting.
Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm and is closed on weekends. The beautiful facility is equipped with modern diagnostic tools, including digital radiography, ultrasound, and in-house laboratory equipment. The practice offers a full scope of GP services, including wellness care, preventative care, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery, and dentistry.
Team
The hospital is supported by 1 DVM and a well-trained team of support staff, creating an environment where collaboration and quality patient care are supported throughout the practice.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
