Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a full-time Medical Director. The hospital provides high-quality veterinary care for cats and dogs and is looking for an experienced veterinarian to lead its clinical team while continuing to practice medicine. Role Description and Responsibilities
The Medical Director will oversee the medical quality and patient care delivered throughout the hospital while serving as a key member of the management team. Approximately 30% of the role will be dedicated to leadership responsibilities, including setting the hospital’s strategic direction, supporting medical standards, and contributing to the hospital’s overall success, with the remaining 70% focused on providing high-quality clinical care as a staff veterinarian. Clinical responsibilities include primary care, soft tissue surgery, routine surgery, dentistry, preventative care, anaesthesia, and managing a varied small animal caseload. This opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian with strong leadership skills.

Practice Details
The hospital is currently open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:30am to 5:00pm. The practice is AAHA accredited and is supported by Fear Free Accredited or Fear Free Certified associates where possible. Facilities include hands-free radiology, dental radiographs, cautery equipment, an in-house laboratory, and radiology to support advanced diagnostics and patient care. Services include primary care, preventative care, allergy and itchy skin relief, anaesthesia, dental care, general surgery, soft tissue surgery, routine surgeries, spays and neuters, health certificates, hospice care, and feline-focused care. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
